Game Studios releases Floorball League gameplay-demo
TAMPERE, FINLAND - Game Studios releases a gameplay-demo of the first game in their Floorball League series. The demo allows the gamers to get an early glimpse and feel of the upcoming 3D floorball PC-game destined to go on sale on December 2010. The demo can be downloaded from the official FBL website
In the demo, you take control of the first lineup of the national team of Finland - with authentic players! - and lead them against Sweden in a thrilling 2-minute period match. The demo can be played with either keyboard, PC gamepad or XBOX360 controller for Windows.
"The demo is really an early demo like we are trying to punctuate. It doesn't represent the final game quality, although the demo is already highly enjoyable and promising". "The game match experience will still go through a massive balancing process involving controls, AI and physics, and content will be significantly increased regarding animation, graphics, audio and music", he adds. The purpose of releasing an early demo is to collect feedback from the gamers about the things they would like to see changed in the game. There's still a good amount of development time left to adjust the game more towards what the gamers desire.
The upcoming FBL game itself features authentic national floorball teams provided by International Floorball Federation and Finnish Salibandyliiga teams. Different modes to play include friendly match, tournament, league and shootout modes, with local multiplayer and network support, with wide array of settings to customize the game to one's liking. In addition, team and league editors will be provided for the modding community to create more content to play with and share!
The release of FBL gameplay-demo marks an essential milestone. Most of the critical features or feature enablers are already implemented and will continue on the next development phase with a clear aim of delivering a fulfilling and balanced floorball game at the end of the year.
